Pluck My Magic Garment From Me
$250 SOLD

800mm x 200mm. Ink sticks and graphite.

The invisible red thread of fate connects you to people, and you can't break the thread no matter how hard you might try. The three-triangle-pattern on the sleeves is a symbol for the 3 Greek Fates - it's a minimalist spinning wheel. This is from a series of hands, toying with the idea of the thread connecting you to yourself, and questioning whether Fate controls your destiny, or if you're in charge.

The title is is from The Tempest, where Prospero is taking off his magic cloak, relinquishing control over his surroundings (letting Fate drive for a while), and being his normal self.
