SOLD $400. 300mm x 300mm. Graphite and ink. Here in New Zealand there's a delicacy called "whitebait." It's basically minnows fried into a fritter. I've got Swedish heritage and we're all about eating unusual things like pickled fish, salted fish, salty liquorice.
But I can't handle whitebait because they are the minnows of endangered native fish! Four of the six whitebait species are threatened or at risk of extinction. I am not making this up! Yet we still keep eating the minnows. Argh. |
